PET & HOUSE SITTER Hi, im Ria, I was born in Benoni and stayed in a few Provinces. For the past 12 years I’ve been living in East London. I rescued a kitten off the street, saved his life and gave him a home. He is currently my best friend. Furthermore I help taking care of my Son’s 3 “high maintenance” dogs. The are of the “I constantly need love and affection” breeds which also not allow you much personal space. Seeing them and playing with them is the best part of my day. These loved ones are on special diets because of allergies. Some medication need to be administered from time to time, so I believe myself to love and take care of another’s animals as I look after my own and my Son’s special fur babies. PET & HOUSE SITTER Hi I am Dianne, im a mother of 3 and 3 ½ grandchildren, I have had pets come and go through my life – dogs, cats, birds, rats, hamsters, fish, etc. you name it. As a child I had s fish tank full of mice. My adult sons all have pets in their homes and one even has a porcupine and a guinea pig. I currently reside with my sister and there are 3 dogs and 3 cats, so I am constantly surrounded and in contact with pets. We are a close knit family and we are constantly involved with each other’s children AND pets. I believe that we must respect our pets, and not let them get out of control. Neutering and spaying is very important, if one is not breeding them. Not everyone is a breeder. It breaks my heart to see people get a pet and they breed and sit with unwanted pets, this is where abuse begins. This is my opinion and experience on owing pets. OWNER – PET & HOUSE SITTER, WALKER & PET GROOMER Hello Pet Owners, I’m the Owner of GOINGAWAY Pet and House Sitters East London. I have had animals in my life from since I was very young and then helped raise lions and leopard when I left school at Lion Park. Animals are very special to me and I really enjoy my time with each of them. I currently have two cats (Mandu (passed away May 2018) and Monster) they bring me such joy. I have been in the animal nurturing industry since 2002. Kevin Richardson was my Teacher and Boss at Lion Park JHB. I left the corporate world in April 2017 and went to Cape Town to learn Dog grooming. I came back home after 2 and a half months and started working for my self and do pet grooming, i have now a year later taken on 2 trainees as the grooming has grown so fast! We do all the areas in East London, PE, Port Alfred & Grahamstown with Cape Town and JHB. In 2023 i did Wildlife rehabilitation training. In 2025 i did 1/3 Level 1 FIRST AID pet training.
